What wacky weather we have had in the last couple of days! Yesterday apparently was up to 15C and today it's back down to -6C. So almost all the snow melted, revealing Quito's all-natural lawn treatment (now bagged and for sale). It was nice though...I took the bike down off the lift and put the battery back in. It fired up with no trouble and sounded just like it ought to....like a Sherman tank with no muffler! 8) Luckily my neighbour is very nice and he's been doing renovations over the last couple of days ( at least I hope it's just renovations), so we've been equally noisy. So needless to say, I can't wait until April when I can roll the bike out for a real season of riding, unlike last year when I had to leave it down in London. My only ride was from London to Barrie at the end of October, two days before the insurance ran out. Jenn and I are looking forward to cruising down by the lakeshore this summer!
Jenn kicked her flu in about 24 hours...turns out my dad and uncle, who we had seen a couple of days before came down with the same thing. Thankfully, I dodged it. Following the holidays, things seem to be back to normal now. Jenn is buckling down to finish her last two courses for her BA so that we can go out to Alberta for her grad in June. Not much else going on. I'm on my days off and puttering around the house, so I figured I need to update the blog...gotta keep all those fascinated people out there in the loop! 8) I'm glad there's a couple of ya still reading. Anyhow, God bless you all and till next time!
